Terms of Service

1. Provider
The WTP Conjoint Analysis by Intelligent Prices web application (the "App"), available at https://conjoint.intelligentprices.com, is provided by Juan Carlos Rentería García, a natural person domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, doing business as Intelligent Prices (the "Provider"). Contact: soporte@conjoint.intelligentprices.com.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App.
3. Service description
The App lets you design, distribute and analyze adaptive pairwise conjoint surveys, in which respondents choose between pairs of options of a product or service, to estimate the importance of its features and the willingness to pay for each improvement, with optional calibration using purchase-intention questions and market product prices. It is offered as:
- Free plan: one active survey at a time, in-app response collection, relative importance of features, points per level, sampling error, methodological warnings and basic interpretation.
- Paid services per survey: Study; Study with asynchronous expert review; Study with video-call expert review.
- Add-ons per survey: segmentation variables, calibration with market products, CSV download, data and analysis retention, reactivation of free-plan surveys, and white label.
What each option includes and its current price are published on the App's pricing page. We never charge for the validity of your results: relative importance, sampling error and methodological warnings are available on every plan.
4. User accounts
You must be an adult (18+) acting in a professional, academic or business context. You may create your account with your email address, on the free plan, or be registered by the administrator (for example, as a course student). When creating it you must complete the welcome form with the required information shown there, accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and consent to the processing of your personal data. If you are a student with a valid course code, you get the student plan for the validity of the cohort; the code is personal and must not be shared. Access uses a verification code sent to your email; to protect the App we use an anti-abuse check (Cloudflare Turnstile) when you request it. You are responsible for keeping control of your email and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
5. Prices, payments and taxes
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as our authorized reseller (Merchant of Record), which handles billing, invoicing, applicable taxes and refunds. By paying, you also accept Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices are shown in Colombian pesos (COP) for purchases billed in Colombia and in US dollars (USD) for other countries, and may include taxes depending on the buyer's country. Paid services are one-time purchases per survey: they do not renew or charge automatically.
6. Validity, retention and read-only mode
- The Study includes 12 months of validity; the Study with asynchronous review, 24 months; and the Study with video-call review, 36 months, from activation.
- Free-plan surveys are automatically deactivated 12 months after creation.
- When validity ends, the survey enters read-only mode: it is closed, receives no new responses, and cannot be edited, but its results remain visible.
- Validity can be extended with the data and analysis retention add-on, and free-plan surveys can be reactivated with the reactivation add-on, which includes retention for the paid period.
7. Expert review
The expert review is the Provider's analysis of the survey carried out in the App: sample quality, consistency of the features, levels and prices tested, and its interpretation. It is delivered as a written memo (asynchronous) or in a scheduled video-call session with the user (synchronous). Slots are limited and assigned in order of purchase. A session may be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours' notice. The review is a technical opinion on the survey and does not guarantee commercial results.
8. Surveys and respondent data
You are the data controller for the personal data you collect from your respondents. You agree to obtain their consent where required by law, to inform them of the purpose of processing, and not to collect sensitive data or data from minors. The Provider acts as data processor for that data on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Nature of the results
Results are statistical estimates based on respondents' stated choices and answers, and their quality depends on sample size and representativeness and on how the survey's features, levels and prices are defined. The estimated willingness to pay for each improvement is a marginal value and is not the total price of the product. Results do not constitute financial, accounting or legal advice, nor do they guarantee sales or revenue. Decisions based on them are solely your responsibility.
10. Intellectual property
The App's software, design, texts and calculation methods are the Provider's property unless stated otherwise. Your surveys, collected data and generated reports belong to you. You grant the Provider a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the service.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful or deceptive purposes, not to send unsolicited mass surveys (spam), not to attempt to compromise its security or bypass its anti-abuse controls, not to create accounts by automated means, not to share course codes with people outside the cohort, and not to resell access to third parties.
12. Availability and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is." The Provider strives for continuous availability but does not guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost opportunities, and its total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time by writing to soporte@conjoint.intelligentprices.com. The Provider may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, with prior notice except in cases of unlawful use or security risk.
14. Modifications
The Provider may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and material changes will be notified in the App or by email. Changes do not affect services already paid for during their validity.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. For payment transactions, Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy also apply.
